This article describes the process to setup FASTTRAK for use with The Quote Bot
The Quote Bot is an independent third-party integration with no direct relationship with FASTTRAK. All services and support are offered through The Quote Bot. The setup below configures the FASTTRAK Platform to allow The Quote Bot access to your FASTTRAK database. The steps below allow full API access, but can be configured for incremental access only.

If necessary, The Quote Bot team will coordinate support questions that require assistance from FASTTRAK via the FASTTRAK support process. The primary communication for FASTTRAK Support is through [email protected].
FASTTRAK Web Service User Setup (API Integration)
Setup in FASTTRAK consists primarily of setting up the API connection web service user.
- Create a Customer Profile record named The Quote Bot (or some other reference name) that will be used as a default landing profile for new reservations. Details of this profile can be setup with reservation defaults.
- Open FASTTRAK Ultimate Desktop or InVision Web client application (Ultimate Desktop shown below), and browse to Global System Settings.
- Ultimate client: FT Menu --> System, Company and User Setup --> System Global Settings
- InVision client: System Setup (left menu) --> Integrated Affiliates & APIs
- Open the Web Serviec User Management area
- Ultimate: Web Services & eAffiliate tab --> Web Service User & GPS Setup
- InVision: API/Web Service Users tab
FASTTRAK Ultimate Desktop :: Add/Edit Web Service User Form
- Click the Add button under the API user list to open the new web service user form
- Enter description information and select the The Quote Bot profile created in the first step.
- The User name must be a valid email address and should be specific to your operation.

The Quote Bot API User setup is complete!
Take note of the Customer Username (email), Password and Customer System ID values. You will need to provide these values to The Quote Bot team.
