This article will describe how to setup the Affiliate link.
The AFFILIATE LINK allows you to send a link to the Affiliate Company and, if assigned, the actual driver form the affiliate company so they can update the status electronically in your FASTTRAK program. The link will be sent to the Affiliate in an email or sms if you have sms enabled in your system.
After you have entered the AFFILIATE COMPANY go to the AFFILIATE SETTINGS tab in their profile. Check the two options at the bottom of the list to first enable the drivers who work for the Affiliate Company to show as options when assigning drivers to the reservations. Also check the option to SEND THE AFFILIATE LINK.

If you have the information for the drivers of the Affiliate Company they may be added at thsi time.
On the MAIN DISPATCH GRID assign the AFFILIATE COMPANY as you would normally do. If you have already entered a driver for the Affiliate Company they will be in the list. If you have not previously added drivers for the Affiliate Company or it is a NEW driver you have not previously entered you will have the option to add the new driver after you assign the Affiliate company.
After the Affiliate Company and/or the Affiliate Company Driver is assigned to the reservation the link will be sent to the email address and cell number (if sms is enabled). If no Affiliate Company Driver is selected the link will be sent to the Affiliate Company email address. This link is sent 4 hours prior to the scheduled pick up but is NOT active until the status is DRIVER CONFIRMED or beyond in your Dispatch Grid.
The recipient will now be able to update the status using the link.
